Anastasiadis Georgios born on April 29, 1964, in Stuttgart, Germany, he grew up in Amygdaleonas, Kavala, where he graduated from the Technical High School, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Shortly after his graduation and since the age of 18, he started working in the construction industry. On site, he acquired technical knowledge on buildings construction in a practical way, reaching, within 10 years, the level of Technician.

In 1992 he decided to make the big change and started working with the 16th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities on the archaeological site of Philippi, as a restoration technician, with a specialization in stone constructions.

In 1997 he worked as a highly specialized craftsman (stone) with the 7th Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities, based in Larissa, at the castle of Fanari Karditsa, where he built 500 cubic meters of stone within 5 years, in order to restore the castle. At the same time he worked as a teacher at the Vocational Training Centre “DIMITRA”, where he taught for a year, to a group of young people, how to build with stone, while undertaking stone-laying projects for private clients both in Larissa and Katerini.

In 2001 he moved to Athens, where he signed successive contracts over a 10-year period, working with the 1st Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, on the archaeological site of Asklepieion as a Specialist Stone Craftsman and Marble Technician. At the same time, he continued to take on stone building projects in Athens and in the mountain areas of Arcadia.

In his spare time, he worked as a volunteer, teaching Contructions to volunteer groups, with emphasis on stone building.

From 2011 to 2016, he worked as a Marble Technician on the restoration of the Parthenon. At the same time he dealt with clay and marble sculpture.

In 2016 – 2017, he worked as a Marble Technician on the restoration of the Holy Sepulcher, the Tomb of Christ, at the Temple of Resurrection in Jerusalem under the supervision of the National Technical University of Athens.

Over the past 25 years, he spent his free time studying the monuments of all important ancient civilizations, while trying to approach their philosophy.
